Envelope Module

Each voice has 4 envelopes that are triggered from the note on. One is over the waveforms and controls amplitude, the second is over the filter and controls cutoff frequency, the third and fourth are on LFO1 and LFO2,

Controls

Waveform Page
  • Attack – Attack time from 0.001s to 10s. The Waveform Envelope has a fast attack curve
  • Hold – Hold time from 0.001s to 10s
  • Decay – Decay time from 0.001s to 10s
  • Sustain – Sustain level from 0% to 100%
  • Release – Decay time from 0.001s to 10s
Filter Page
  • Filter Attack – Attack time from 0.001s to 10s. TheFilter Envelope has a slow attack curve
  • Filter Hold – Hold time from 0.001s to 10s
  • Filter Decay – Decay time from 0.001s to 10s
  • Filter Sustain – Sustain level from 0% to 100%
  • Filter Release – Decay time from 0.001s to 10s

LFO Page
  • LFO1 Attack – Attack time from 0.01s to 100s. TheFilter Envelope has a fast attack curve
  • LFO1 Hold – Hold time from 0.01s to 100s
  • LFO1 Decay – Decay time from 0.01s to 100s
  • LFO2 Attack – Attack time from 0.01s to 100s. TheFilter Envelope has a fast attack curve
  • LFO2 Hold – Hold time from 0.01s to 100s
  • LFO2 Decay – Decay time from 0.01s to 100s

Tips:

  • Small Attack and Small Decay with a moderate Hold produces an interesting ‘gated’ affect, particularly on filters

Traps:

  • Very Small Attacks on sounds with little or no high frequencies can make a click or pop sound. This is most noticeable on subs. Just increase the attack a little to create a smooth start to the sound.
